IMMI - Financial Protection
The majority of removals companies that undertake International Removals will require you to pay a deposit or the full amount in advance for your International move. Protecting pre-payments and deposits is particularly important for overseas removals.
For this reason members of BAR Overseas Group
are required to sign up to an Advance payment Guarantee scheme that is specifically designed to protect customers in the unlikely event that the company stops trading. The IMMI ( International Movers Mutual Agreement) Advance Payment Scheme was set up by the BAR Overseas Group to protect customers.
In the unlikely event that Bishop's Blatchpack cannot carry out you agreed International move, you as a customer will be financially covered and still be able to receive your household effects at your agreed destination, at no extra cost to yourselves, as the BAR Overseas Group will appoint another member to complete the move.
This scheme is similar to the financial protection provided for holidays by ABTA, making sure customers do not suffer should their holiday provider go in to liquidation.
Therefore, you as a customer can have complete peace of mind in the knowledge that we can provide you with maximum financial protection when you choose to move overseas with us.
